Thiemo Sjors — Founder & CEO
Thiemo Sjors founded Gouna Realty after years moving between Amsterdam and El Gouna. The property market was fragmented across a dozen brokers, scrapers and lifestyle services. He built Gouna Realty to bring it into one place for buyers, renters and the local agencies serving them.
Background in market-analysis. The aggregator model is a structural choice: Gouna Realty does not own listings, take sale commissions or compete with the agencies who do. Inquiries route via WhatsApp to the authorised agency that owns each listing. The platform aggregates; the agency handles viewings, negotiation and the contract.
Phase 1 covers El Gouna real-estate aggregation across all six listing sources, with neighbourhood guides and pillar buying guides live. Phase 2 expands across Egypt (Sahl Hasheesh, Soma Bay, El Alamein, North Coast, Cairo). Phase 3 layers in lifestyle services. Egypt FRA registration intent confirmed for the Phase 2 transition.
